Early Voting for Maryland’s Primary Election starts on Thurs., May 2 and ends on May 9. Polling hours are from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. Election Day is Tuesday, May 14. We encourage everyone to register to vote and to vote in this important election – it makes a difference!

Men’s FMO on Thurs., April 18 

Brothers, come out this Thursday, April 18th for a special Men’s F.M.O. (For Men Only). You’ll hear an anointed Word from Rev. Brian McDaniel, Minister to Men at Kingdom Fellowship A.M.E. Church. We’ll start at 7 p.m. with food and fellowship, and then at 7:30 p.m., a powerful teaching and discussion— all right here at Ebenezer.

Mobile Cancer Detection Screenings on Sat., April 20 

There will be a mobile cancer detection screen truck at Ebenezer to provide cancer screenings for both men and women on Sat., April 20 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.  This event is sponsored by Congressman Glenn Ivey, in partnership with the American Cancer Society and the American Urologic Association.

Poetry Ministry’s National Poetry Month Celebration on April 26 

The Anointed P.E.N.S. will host their 2024 National Poetry Month Celebration: African Americans and the Art of Poetry on Fri. April 26 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. here at Ebenezer. This is a free event open to the public, with featured poet Saniya Pearson,  an open mic and musical presentations from Djembe Drummer Doc Powell, and Psalmist Christine Jenkins.

2024 Women’s Season Activities 

Sisters, join the “God Is A Wonder” Morning Walks each Saturday around Ebenezer The Beautiful from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Walk at your own pace anytime between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. each Saturday starting March 16 – May 4.

Everyone can support the Women’s Season Outreach Day on May 18 by donating gift cards (VISA, MC, AMEX, Target, Walmart) or monetary donations in any amount. This year, your donations will support four organizations: Martin Luther King Middle School in Bladensburg, MD; Promise Place Youth Shelter; Life After Release (formerly incarcerated women) and a Prince George’s County Women’s Miltary Unit currently deployed in Portugal. Drop off your gift cards in the Narthex after church on Sunday or at the admin office throughout the week. To give monetary donations, go to ebenezerame.org and click on GIVE. Select “Women’s Season Outreach” when giving. 

All women are invited to join the Daughters of Anna Prayer Circle on Sat., May 18 at 8:00 a.m. for a powerful hour of prayer here at Ebenezer.
