Pastor Grainger Browning to be preacher for Rev. Clifton Sparrow’s 49th year in ministry service
Pastor Grainger Browning will be the guest preacher today at Ebenezer AME Church -Galesville, MD at 3 p.m. The Levitical Voices will also minister at this service. 

Support the Jr. Girl Scouts Bronze Award Project 
Help the Jr. Girl Scouts earn their Bronze Award by donating items to benefit a local animal shelter. Items such as dog toys, sealed dog treats, canned tuna, salmon, chicken (in water) and paper cups can be dropped off in the designated donation boxes at the church through Fri., May 22. 

Annual Memorial Day Celebration on May 23

Our annual Memorial Day Celebration service will be held on Sat., May 23 at 10:00 a.m. Our guest preacher is Rev. Dr. Baron Young, Retired Pastor of the A.M.E. Church. 

Liturgical Dance Open Season 

Youth, Young Adults and Adults ages 8 and up. Join the Liturgical Dance Ministry during open season from now through June 14, 2026. For more information, visit our website eldm7707.com or visit the table after worship services in the Narthex. 

Sunday School 

Sunday School for children and youth is held each Sunday from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. on the third floor of the main sanctuary. Sunday School for adults is held virtually on Zoom at 7:30 a.m. each Sunday. For more information on how to join, email sundayschool@ebenezerame.org.

Children and Youth Activities 

Children’s Bible Study will be held on Fri., May 22 at 6:30 p.m. Register your child to attend HERE.

Youth Family dinner for middle and high schoolers will be held on Fri., May 22 at 6:30 p.m. Register your child to attend HERE.

Women’s Season 2026

All women are invited to join the Women’s Day Choir which will minister on Women’s Day May 31, 2026. Rehearsals will be held on May 19 after the retreat briefing and on May 26 at 7 p.m.

Sisters who are going to the retreat should plan to attend the Retreat Briefing on Tues., May 19 at 7 p.m. Attend in person or stream the service. 

We are in need of volunteers for the Women’s Retreat. Sisters, please sign up to volunteer HERE. Please note that you must be a registered attendee in order to volunteer during the retreat days of Thurs., May 28 – 30. 

Brothers are also needed to assist during the retreat. Sign up HERE to volunteer or contact the Men’s Ministry at mensministry@ebenezerame.org.

For salvation, to rededicate your faith, or to join Ebenezer, go to ebenezerame.org/salvation to provide your contact information and a member of our ministerial staff will contact you to pray with you.  Or you may come to the altar to pray the prayer of salvation with a member of our ministerial staff during our in-person worship experience.
