Resurrection Sunday Worship Services 

There will be two worship services on Sun., April 20 at 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., with special musical presentations planned for both services. Join us live at the EB or stream the service on ebenezerame.org or Ebenezer’s YouTube Channel. 

Youth Easter Egg Hunt on Sat., April 19 

Ebenezer will host an Easter Egg Hunt for children and youth ages 5-18 on Sat., April 19 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Register to attend by Thurs., April 17 at ebenezerame.org/youth.

Family Easter Photo Shoot on Sun., April 20 

The BALM Ministry is hosting a photo shoot for families on Sun., April 20 after the 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. worship services. Cost is $25 (for up to 5 family members per shoot) and includes 1 print photo and 2 digital images. Register to attend on Eventbrite or on ebenezerame.org.

Christian Business Ministry’s “Protecting Your Assets” Workshop 

Join the Christian Business Ministry us for an insightful panel discussion – “Secure Your Future: Smart Strategies for Protecting Your Assets” – on Mon., April 21 at 7 p.m. This free event will focus on strategies to protect your business, properties, and personal liability.

Heritage of Heroes Veterans Event 

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Faith, in collaboration with Ebenezer A.M.E. Church, Mount Nebo A.M.E. Church, and Metropolitan A.M.E. Church, will host “Heritage of Heroes: Celebrating Veterans, Military Service Members and their Families” on Saturday, May 3 from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. here at Ebenezer. The VA Mobile Unit and VA Claims Team will be available onsite to assist with VA Claims. Veterans should bring their Form DD214. This free event is open to the community and active duty military. 40 Days 40 Items Donations

A reminder for those participating in the The Alice B. Chapman Missionary Society, YPD, Ebenezer Lay Organization and Jewels Ministry’s 40 days 40 Items Lent Season Donation Drive. Filled donation bags can be dropped off on Sat., April 19, 2025 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Women’s Resource & Restoration Center Parking Lot on Ebenezer’s campus. 

40 Day Target Boycott 

2nd Episcopal District Bishop Reginald T. Jackson has issued a call to boycott Target Corporation stores for 40 days to protest its recent reversal on diversity, equity and inclusion. Everyone is encouraged to participate by not purchasing anything from Target (either in-store or online), starting on Weds., March 5, through Sat., April 19, 2025. Persons interested in supporting Black-owned products sold in Target are encouraged to purchase those items online directly from the company or to contact your local chamber of commerce. Women’s Season 2025 

Sisters, start a walking habit by coming out to Ebenezer on an at your own pace health walk each Saturday in April. Sisters can walk around Ebenezer the Beautiful anytime between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Sisters, join the Daughters of Anna for a powerful hour of prayer on Sat., April 19 at 8 a.m. and Sat., May 17 at 9:30 a.m. here at Ebenezer.

We are seeking women to minister with the Women’s Season Choir on Women’s Day – Sun., June 1, 2025. The choir is open to all women, regardless of whether or not you already sing with a choir. Rehearsals will be held on Mondays May 5 and 12 and Tuesdays, May 20 and 27 at 7 p.m. The attire for Women’s Day will be a solid color dress, suit, or skirt and blouse in any of the Women’s Season colors (red, white, fuchsia, gold, lime green, royal blue, purple, orange, teal, turquoise or yellow.) No prints, patterns or multiple colors.
