Pastor Jo Ann Browning to preach at Hampton Ministers Conference

Please keep Pastor Jo Ann Browning in your prayers this week. Pastor Jo Ann will preach the Women in Ministry Session at the prestigious Hampton Ministers Conference on Tues., June 9 at 12:30 p.m.

Christian Business Ministry’s Franchising Workshop

The Christian Business Ministry will hold a “Franchising 101” workshop on Mon., June 8 at 7 p.m. Guest speaker is Hallie Williams  of CEO Next Door. This event is free and open to everyone.

Liturgical Dance Open Season

Ebenezer Orchestra Recruiting for New Members

The Ebenezer Orchestra is looking for talented instrumentalists to join the Orchestra. High School students in need of community service hours are also welcome. Rehearsals are held on Saturdays at 10:00 AM. Email esorchestra@ebenezerame.org for more information.

Men’s Health Ministry’s DMV Prostate Health Rally on June 20

The Men’s Health Ministry in partnership with PHEN(Prostate Health Education Network) will hold a Prostate Health Rally on Sat., June 20 from 10 AM – 2 PM at 7806 Allentown Road. Get a free PSA test, hear from trusted medical experts, and get free resources on early detection and prevention of prostate cancer. Lunch is also included. All men, caregivers, family members, prostate cancer survivors, and the entire community are invited to this free event. Register to attend HERE.

Poetry Ministry’s Juneteenth Celebration 

Celebrate Juneteenth with the Poetry Ministry on Sat., June 20 at 10:00 AM. Featured poet is CeLillianne Green, and featured musicians is Psalmists of Solomon and the Malcolm X Drummers and Dancers. Light refreshments will be served. This is a free event open to the public.

“Shred” Day on June 20

Shred your personal papers safely and confidentially at Ebenezer’s “Shred” Day on Sat., June 20 from 10 AM – 1 PM. Please bring no more than 3 boxes per car for shredding. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with unloading your boxes.

Vacation Bible School on June 22 -26

Vacation Bible School for children 4 and up will be held on Monday – Friday, June 22 – 26 at our 7806 Allentown Road Location. Register your child to attend by Fri., June 19, by clicking HERE

Sunday School 

Sunday School for children and youth is held each Sunday from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. on the third floor of the main sanctuary. Sunday School for adults is held virtually on Zoom at 7:30 a.m. each Sunday. For more information on how to join, email sundayschool@ebenezerame.org.

Children & Youth Activities on Fri., June 12 

Children’s Bible Study will be held here at Ebenezer on Fri., June 12 at 6:30 p.m. Register your child to attend HERE.
