About Our Pastors
Pastor Grainger Browning Jr.
Rev. Dr. Grainger Browning, Jr. is the Senior Pastor of Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church of Fort Washington, Maryland where the Right Reverend Dr. James Levert Davis is the Presiding Bishop of the Second Episcopal District and Rev. Dr. Jonathan Weaver is the Presiding Elder of the Potomac District. He is married to the Reverend Dr. Jo Ann Browning, Co-Pastor of Ebenezer and they have served there in ministry for nearly 40 years. Under their leadership, lives have been changed, families strengthened, and the community transformed.

Pastor, preacher, teacher, author, mentor, wife and mother are just a few words to describe Rev. Dr. Jo Ann Browning. Rev. Dr. Browning is the Co-Pastor of Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church in Fort Washington, Maryland where she has served in ministry for 40 years with her husband, Rev. Dr. Grainger Browning, Jr., Senior Pastor. Under their leadership, lives have been changed, families strengthened, and the community transformed.
