Exceptional Persons Ministry Parent Info Session on Vision Loss

Parents join the Exceptional Persons Ministry for a virtual session with Shawn Callaway, Department of Health & Human Services, and President of the National Federation of the Blind for Washington, DC. The participants will be provided an in-depth view on community resources and information that assist individuals experiencing vision loss navigating to self-sufficiency and independence. This presentation will include discussions on independent living skills training, state agencies for the blind and misconceptions about the capabilities of blind and low vision people.
