BAPTISM: The next baptism instruction class for Pouring and Sprinkling candidates will be held Mon., May 9th at 7 p.m.
NEW MEMBERS’ CLASS: New member’s class will be held Sat., May 14th and focus on Christianity and Salvation.
SCHOLARSHIPS: Attention Ebenezer’s 2016 high school graduates and returning college students. It’s Scholarship Season and there are several scholarships available through the ministries at Ebenezer! Details for all of these scholarships are available online at ebenezerame.org or at the church office.
GOLF MINISTRY: The Golf Ministry is sponsoring the “Blind Mixed Partner’s tournament.” Come out and play for 10 weeks each Thurs. beginning May 26th at the Marlton Golf Club in Upper Marlboro. Play your best five out of 10 games and learn who you and your scores were secretly paired with to qualify for an award. You don’t need to be a member of Ebenezer to participate. Pick up your registration pamphlet at the Administration Office.
EBENEZER YOUTH LIVING 4 CHRIST: Middle and High School students, make plans today to attend BROKEN 2016, Fri., June 17–Sun., June 19 at the North Bay Retreat Center. Cost is $150.
COMBINED USHER BOARD MINISTRY: Join the Combined Usher Board as they explore New York City Oct., 5-7. This three-day trip includes shopping, the Broadway play “Shuffle Along,” Amateur Night at the Apollo, hotel accommodations, and breakfast and dinner daily. Stop by their table in the Narthex or pick up a flyer near the Admin. Area.
WOMEN’S SEASON: What a wonder Women’s Season 2016 has been! Get ready, get ready, get ready for Revival Part II this Wed., May 11th and Thurs., May 12th with powerhouse preacher, Rev. Dr. Gina Stewart!
Then on Sat., May 14th at 11 a.m., our Mother & Son Luncheon with Rev. Sherita Seawright and her son Matthew Seawright. Tickets are only $20.
Sisters, we need your voice! Women’s choir rehearsals will begin Mon., May 9th at 7 pm followed by May 16, 17, 23 and 24.
Then, Young Adult women, be in the house for “Tell Your Story, Girl!” – Faith, Food, Fun, Fellowship & Flight—a two-night event Thurs., May 19 and Fri., May 20. First, Thursday, May 19th at 7 p.m. is Faith & Food on the 3rd Floor with Rev. Faith Reid and Sis. Kellie Williams (best known for her role as Laura from Family Matters). Then, Friday at 8:30 p.m., they will take flight at a trampoline park. See a Young Adult Committee member in the Narthex after service for further details.
