PREACHING ENGAGEMENT/EVENTS: Ebenezer church family, please continue to pray for our Pastors. Pastor Jo Ann Browning is preaching Lenten Service at Allen Chapel AME in Washington, D.C. Wed., March 11th at 7 p.m.

Pastor Grainger Browning has been invited by Congressman John Lewis to participate in the Faith & Politics Institute’s 2020 Congressional Civil Rights Pilgrimage to Montgomery, Birmingham and Selma, Alabama beginning March 6. The Congressional Pilgrimage will include standing on the Edmund Pettus Bridge, site of the historical event on March 7, 1965 which became known as “Bloody Sunday,’ when armed police attacked and brutally beat Civil Rights Movement demonstrators, including Congressman Lewis as they attempted to march to the state capital of Montgomery. This event led to the signing of the Voting Rights Act of 1965

NEW MEMBERS: The next New Members’ class is Sat., March 7th at 10 a.m. and will focus on faith and salvation.

CALL TO MINISTRY: The next Call to Ministry meeting with Pastor Jo Ann Browning will be held Tues., March 3rd at 7:30 p.m.

BAPTISM: The next baptism instruction class for pouring and sprinkling class will be held Mon., March 9th at 7 p.m.

FIRESIDE CHAT WITH DR. MONICA GOLDSON: Calling all parents, students, educators and community members…Ebenezer is hosting its 2nd annual Fireside Chat with our very own Dr. Monica Goldson, CEO of Prince George’s County Public Schools and our moderator Rev. Akil Dickens, Tues., March 17th at 7 p.m. Join us for an intimate conversation as we reflect on the current school year and look forward to the upcoming school year. GOLF MINISTRY: Are you interested in learning golf? Experience the fellowship & fun of Christian golfers, learn to apply the golf code of ethics to daily living and much more. Indoor classes begin Thurs., March 19th at 7 p.m. here at Ebenezer. Contact the Admin. Office for details.

ROYAL RUNNERS: It’s not too late to join the Royal Runners indoor/outdoor track team. Come out Mondays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Friendly High School. Stop by their table after service today or contact the Admin. Office.

SOCIAL CONSCIOUS MINISTRY: The Social Conscious Ministry will be conducting a Voter Registration Drive during the month of March. Stop by their table in the Narthex after first service each Sunday to register and receive more information.

SUNDAY SCHOOL: Help the Potomac District with making strides to support higher education by spreading the word about the 5K Run/Walk Sat., March 7th. Recruit your family, friends and co-workers to join the Sunday School in this effort! Register after service today.

LENTEN SEASON: Each Friday morning at 6 AM during Lenten Season the Ministerial staff will share the Word. Rev. Jacob Oliver will preach Fri., March 6th at 6 a.m.

MORNING MIRACLE SERVICES: The Lenten Service continues with weekly services. Beginning tomorrow Mon., March 2 until Easter Sunday Services, come out at 6 a.m. for Miraculous Mondays, Triumphant Tuesdays and Wondrous Wednesdays with Pastor Grainger Browning.

2020 WOMEN’S SEASON: Women’s Season 2020 is HERE Sisters get ready for God to work a WONDER! The Women’s Season Consecration, Commitment and Restoration Kick-Off service TODAY at 5 p.m. Our guest preacher will be Rev. Dr. Jessica Ingram. Sisters. Wear your white and come out to be consecrated as we start the season. You’ll also be able to sign-up for the various Women’s Season committees. We know that God is a WONDER!
