BRIDGES OF HOPE-WARM NIGHTS: The Potter’s House Ministry wishes to thank our Pastors, Rev. Angie Milligan, Min. Ralph Miller, the ministerial staff, office staff and all of the Ebenezer ministries and church family members who prepared meals, volunteered time and donated gift cards and supplies during the 2020 BRIDGES Of HOPE-Warm Nights season. Your support made a difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters.

LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE CALL: The next church wide leadership phone conference call is TOMORROW, Feb. 3 at 7:30 p.m. Call-in information is available on our website.

NEW MEMBERS’: The next New Members’ class is Sat., Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. and will focus on Christianity and discipleship.

BAPTISM: The next baptism instruction class for immersion candidates is Tues., Feb. 11 at 7 p.m.

BALM MINISTRY:  Join the Blessings and Love Married and Engaged Couples Ministry as they celebrate February as “Black Love” month. All couples, married, engaged and seriously dating are encouraged to come and celebrate love with BALM. Mark your calendars and sign up in the Narthex to participate in these special activities—Fri., Feb. 7 at 7 PM, it’s a Night Out focused on the “Power of Love” with our Pastors, Rev. Dr. Grainger Browning & Rev. Dr. Jo Ann Browning. Then, Thurs., Feb. 13 at 7 PM it’s a Night Out Valentine’s Celebration for Couples – “Punch & Paint” with Bro. Marcus & Sis. Sharise Whitfield. Cost is $40 per couple Tickets available at ebenezerpaintnight.eventbrite.com or after service.  On Sat., Feb. 22 9:30 AM, it’s Coffee & Conversation on “Love & Wealth” with Rev. Jay and Rev. Melanie Gamble.

JEWELS MINISTRY: Join the Jewels at the Sight & Sound Theatre in Lancaster, PA. to hear, feel and witness the onstage Biblical production of “Queen Esther.” The bus will leave the church Tues, April 21 at 8 a.m. Stop by their table in the Narthex or email Jewels@ebenezerame.org.

LITURGICAL DANCE MINISTRY: Congratulations to Ebenezer’s Liturgical Dance Ministry for accompanying Pastor Charles Jenkins in the Urban One Honors awards show that aired on TV One on Jan. 20! We thank God for your ministry.

MIN. DILLARD: Our own Min. Ricky Dillard’s new project is here! Min. Dillard makes his Motown Gospel label debut with two new singles—“Release” and “More Abundantly Medley.” It’s available on all digital outlets NOW and the debut album on Motown Gospel will release in Spring 2020!

CONCERT: Don’t miss this Black History Month Concert with Byron Cage featuring Richard Smallwood & Morgan State University Choir TODAY, Feb. 2 at 5 p.m. at Prince George’s County Community College Center for Performing Arts. BLACK HISTORY MONTH: February is Black History Month. Throughout the month, we’ll highlight the achievements of African Americans. What is now known as Black History Month was first celebrated during the second week of February 1926 as Negro History Week. Created by noted historian Carter G. Woodson, it became a month-long celebration in 1976. Today Black History Month is celebrated not only in the United States, but in other countries, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Canada.
