MEN’S SEASON 2015: We praise for a victorious 2015 Men’s Season! God truly moved in a powerful way! Thank you to Pastor Grainger Browning, our visionary along with our Min. to Men, Rev. Marcus Washington, Min. Ralph Miller and all the of the Men’s Season Co-Coordinators for your leadership.
THANKSGIVING SERVICE: The Georgetown Churches Joint Thanksgiving Service will be held Thurs., Nov. 26th at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Georgetown located at 2624 Dumbarton Street in N.W. Washington, D.C. Rev. Robert Pines will be preaching.
NEW MEMBERS CLASS: The New Members class will not be held this Sat., Nov. 28th Classes will resume Sat., Dec. 5th.
CHOIRS: If you are a young adult and love to sing for the Lord, the Young Adult Choir is looking for you! Join them Tuesdays at 7 p.m. The Youth Choir is also looking for new members. Rehearsals are Monday evenings at 7. For more info, call the Music Hotline at 301-248-2205 or call the church.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: Save the date and join us for The Sound of Christmas at Ebenezer the Beautiful Wed., Dec. 16th at 7 p.m. featuring Richard Smallwood & Kurt Carr & the entire Music & Arts Department with a special presentation by our Children’s Choir!
ANGEL TREE: It is more blessed to give than to receive. The Angel Tree Program provides toys and clothing for children with a parent who is incarcerated. With your help, we will be able to help a child have a better holiday season. Visit the Angel Tree table in the Narthex or in the Admin. Area and pick up an angel.
SEASON OF GIVING: For more than 30 years, Ebenezer has provided a variety outreach efforts during the holidays, including food baskets serving thousands of people each year. The needs of our community are greater than ever before and we want to do more! Help serve more members and neighbors this Thanksgiving and Christmas by going to Ebenezerame.org and clicking “online giving” to help support our food basket donations and other Season of Giving activities throughout this holiday season.
