BRIDGES OF HOPE-WARM NIGHTS: We welcome our brothers and sisters from the Bridges of Hope-Warm Nights program today, Jan. 26 through Feb. 2. For the 25th year we are grateful to open our doors to provide church-based emergency shelter through this program. Contact the Potter’s House Ministry at firstname.lastname@example.org or in-person after both services in the Narthex.
BRIDGES OF HOPE – SUPPLY DRIVE: The supply drive for Bridges of Hope-Warm Nights ends today, January 26. Donation Boxes are available in the Narthex and Admin area. Supplies needed include new pillows, new blankets (twin size), gift cards for gas, pharmacies and food.
SUNDAY SCHOOL: In support of Warm Nights, Sunday School will not meet next Sun., Feb. 2.
BALM MINISTRY: Join the Blessings and Love Married and Engaged Couples Ministry as they celebrate February as “Black Love” month. All couples, married, engaged and seriously dating are encouraged to come and celebrate love with BALM in February. Mark your calendars and sign up in the Narthex to participate in all four special activities—Sat., Feb. 1 at 9:30 AM, Coffee & Conversation on “Love & Health” with Bro. Derrick and Sis. Christy Fenner. On Fri., Feb. Feb. 7 at 7 PM, there will be a Night Out focused on the “Power of Love” with our Pastors, Rev. Dr. Grainger Browning & Rev. Dr. Jo Ann Browning. Then, on Thurs., Feb. 13 at 7 PM it’s a Night Out Valentine’s Celebration for Couples – “Punch & Paint” with Bro. & Sis. Whitfield. On Sat., Feb. 22 9:30 AM, they will have Coffee & Conversation on “Love & Wealth” with Rev. Jay and Rev. Melanie Gamble.
AFRICAN/AFRICAN AMERICAN LIBERATION MINISTRY (A/AALM): The African/African American Liberation Ministry invites you to participate in all of its 2020 events, including field trips, workshops, discussions and more to help explore the life and culture of Africans & African Americans.
