NEW MEMBERS CLASS: The New Members class will be held Sat. Jan 28th at 10 a.m. and will focus on stewardship.

WARM NIGHTS: Ebenezer is opening its doors to the WARM NIGHTS program for the 22nd year. We’ll host and provide church-based emergency shelter for our brothers and sisters who are experiencing homelessness today Sun., Jan. 22nd – Jan 28th. During the week, the Potter’s House Ministry along with various ministries within the church will serve to make a difference in the lives of our homeless brothers and sisters. If you are seeking a ministry, join the Potter’s House Ministry to serve those who are experiencing economic challenges and homelessness.

Brothers, we also need YOU during Warm Nights! If you are available to support with set-up and breakdown, serve as night monitors or you are a licensed barber), email at pottershouse@ebenezerame.org.

YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT SUNDAY: Church family, come dressed down in your “Jesus Saves” apparel next Sun., Jan. 29th in support of Youth and Young Adult Sunday.

BALM MINISTRY: It’s almost here…the 2017 Blessing and Love Married and Engaged Couples “Forever I Do with You” Getaway Weekend Conference Fri., Feb. 3rd & Sat., Feb. 4th at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge Resort in Cambridge, MD. Cost is only $395 per couple and includes one night’s hotel stay for two, Friday dinner and dance, breakfast buffet, plus a romantic experience you don’t want to miss. Join our Pastors and guest facilitators Pastors Harold and Kellie Hayes and Reverends Jay and Melanie Gamble. For those who have registered, you must make your payment in the Narthex or online immediately.

CHRISTIAN BUSINESS MINISTRY: Business owners (youth and adults), register your business with the Christian Business Ministry in the Narthex in between services.

5TH SUNDAY UNPLUGGED: Get “Unplugged” here at Ebenezer Sun., Jan. 29th at 6p.m.  We want to see your face in the place for 5th Sunday Unplugged! Wear your college or your sorority and fraternity paraphernalia this night for our 1st Annual HBCU Choir Nite featuring the Howard University Gospel Choir, Morgan State Gospel Choir and the Virginia State Gospel Choir!

CFAM: CFAM is participating in the National College Mentoring Program which is designed to assist undergraduate college students who attend local colleges and universities. Visit the CFAM booth in the Narthex or email Rev. Ware at cfamrev@gmail.com.

EDUCATION MINISTRY: The Education Ministry is offering the first of two four-session SAT Preparation Classes. The first session will meet on four consecutive Saturdays beginning Feb. 11 th – March 4th from 9 a.m.12:30 p.m. The Ministry is accepting reservations from all high school students. Registration fee is $125. Call the church office to register.

2017 Spring Black College Tour: It’s coming soon, get ready, get ready, and get registered for the 2017 Black College Tour Sun., April 16th – Thurs., April 20th. Register today in the Narthex.

CREATIVE GIFTS SEMINAR & CELEBRATION AT EBENEZER: Save the dates Fri., March 10th – Sun., March 12th. Ebenezer will host its first CREATIVE GIFTS SEMINAR & CELEBRATION. Come develop your creative gifts in the areas of art, voice, music, writing, drama, liturgical dance, musical instruments, poetry and spoken word, video/audio production and more. Sign-up today in the Narthex after service today. Cost is only $5 for adults and free for all youth ages 5-17.
