A message of faith, love and empowerment to the Ebenezer AME Church Family!

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

No matter the situation. No matter the condition. No matter the circumstance. God is with us. Despite current conditions in our world and the unexpected changes we are all undergoing in our society, we must not allow fear to overtake us, but to remember that HE is always with us.

While we continue to trust God, the recent MD State ban placed on large gatherings has caused us to adjust our Sunday worship experience. We look forward to you joining for Sunday worship services this Sunday, March 15 at 7:45 am and 10:45 am as we live stream from the sanctuary. The church will not be open for members or visitors, but you can live stream and worship with us from your home.

Additionally, we have to temporarily suspend meetings and activities held within the church building starting Friday, March 13. The work of the church continues outside the walls of the church and ministries are encouraged to conduct outreach and hold conference calls as needed.

We pray that all members and your families will believe in faith while exercising wisdom, seeking knowledge about specific risks (for those who have pre-existing conditions and are over age 60) and practicing proper prevention habits as provided by the CDC and medical officials.

As a people, we have experienced challenges before and God has brought us through them all. Even in today’s rapidly changing reality, we can know without a shadow of a doubt that God is still in control, and this moment won’t stop our praise or our work for the Lord! We encourage you to invite your family, friends and social media community to join us virtually this Sunday via as we worship our God who has “not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Please continue to check and our social media handles for updates.

In God’s love, power and peace,

Pastor Grainger Browning & Pastor Jo Ann Browning
