The Rev. Kanika Magee brings a fresh perspective and energy to children’s and youth ministry, providing spiritual education and direction to children and youth throughout the area. She engages young people in thought-provoking discussion and reflection on the message of God for today. She has published two children’s books entitled, “Today I Got Saved” and “Where is God at Midnight??” to help answer children’s questions about God. Rev. Magee organizes and consults with youth programs and conferences throughout the nation. She is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, has completed her Master of Divinity at Howard University and is a doctoral candidate in Spirituality at the Catholic University of America.

Min. Akil Dickens is a dynamic speaker, teacher and organizer. Known throughout the area for bringing vibrant energy to youth ministry, Min. Akil is a role model for children & youth everywhere. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at the Howard University School of Divinity.
